If your are travelling to Singapore and are looking for parts, kits, bags or anything related to RC drifting, I highly recommend for you to stop by this store in Crawford Lane. Great selection of products, good prices and more importantly friendly people. It's location is a little hard to find but it's really well worth the trip. If you have the chance to bring a kit with you they have a drift track outside just beside the store.

Wrap-up Screw Extensions

This is a must have in your spare parts box for tuning your suspension and steering and a lot of other things that uses spacers rather than the conventional spacer which you'd have to find a longer screw to go with it. Just wish they had this as a set of like 4 pairs for each size...well you can always buy 4 packs of it anyway. I just think that it will be cheaper if you buy it in a single larger pack.

Active Hobby FR TA05/TA06 Conversion Kit

The Active Hobby FR Conversion Kit for Tamiya's TA05/TA06 has a layout similar to Yokomo's  DIB chassis except that this has the motor up front.and the battery is much more centered vertically and horizontally. It has a low center of gravity for ideal weight distribution and has a 50 degree steering angle (optional driveshaft upgrade AC387). It also has multiple battery and servo positions for better adjustments. Full option parts are available from Active Hobby.

TA05 v2 Eagle Racing conversion

Here's my latest project...

TA05 v2 fitted with an Eagle Racing conversion kit, aluminum bulkheads and pulleys...106% CS ratio. Still in need of new electronics and a shell.

Am looking at the Mitsubishi Evo X and Nissan 370z shell. Which do you think is better? Maybe some other model? Let's see...will post an update real soon.

Cheap RC Under Chassis Protective Tape

We are always looking for ways to protect our beloved RC kits from damages and scratches that we always try to clean and repair after some bashing at our local track. This is unavoidable because accidents and miscalculation when drifting is really a part of the hobby. One of the most common areas that get the most scratches is the under chassis and I found a cheaper alternative to the ever popular bathroom tape. 

This is what is commonly used by RC hobbyists as an under chassis protective tape to prevent those unwanted scratches. Problem is this is quite an expensive piece of tape, costs about P820.00 per roll (We use the clear one and not the black/gray tape as seen in the picture.) which could probably fit up to about 4 kits and can be bought at most hardware shops inside the mall.
