INERTIA DRIFT presents: DRIFT WARS
Draft Technical Rules & Regulations:
1. All participants are only permitted to use 1/10 scale electric RC cars with Counter-steer setup (rear overdrive) and 4wd (NON cs) The chassis can be either belt-driven or shaft-driven.
2.With counter-steer setup, any gear ratios are permitted.
3. Closed tires: AUTODRIFT PRO GRIP
4. Any types of ESCs are allowed.
5. All battery brands and capacity of Li-Po (2 cells), Ni-MH and Ni-Cd (6 cells, 7.2V) are allowed.
6. All cars must observe minimum ride height of 5mm ground clearance.
Prizes:
1ST PLACE – Trophy Plus PRIZE
2ND PLACE – Trophy Plus PRIZE
3RD PLACE – Trophy Plus PRIZE
TQ TOP QUALIFIER – Trophy plus PRIZE
BEST TEAM- Trophy plus PRIZE
Based on total score from qualifying rounds, top 2 teams will battle it out for the best team position.
BEST IN BODYSHELL- closed to YOKOMO brand only.
Regulations:
1. Qualifications
* Open Chassis – Any Brand
* Only 1:10 scale chassis allowed and must be electric powered
* Only ONE chassis allowed to be used throughout the race
* There will be +1 point advantage for CS vs non CS during twin drift battle
* Clipping point STEERING CORRECTION will be deducted
* Team build consist of 3 or 4 drifters (I suggest for big RA groups to evenly distribute your PROs for a better team status)
* Team example ( A06 team A, A06 team B, RCDC team A, B, C)
* Based on total score from qualifying rounds, top 2 teams will battle it out for the best team position.
* Individuals who don’t have teams will be group accordingly.
2. Electronics
a. Participants are advised to carry 2 or more crystals if using AM/FM radio set
b. Participants are advised not to switch on their radios if not in use throughout the race
3. Tires Allowed
a. PRO GRIP TIRES (will be given upon payment of registration fee)
4. Batteries Allowed
a. Ni-Cd / Ni-Mh / Lipo can be used
b. No capacity restriction
c. Each battery pack not more than 7.4V
5. Motor Limit
a. Brush and Brushless System allowed
b. Limit : Open
6. Bodyshells
a. Only Painted and Realistic bodyshell allowed (Open Body)
b. Only ONE bodyshell allowed to be used throughout the race
7. Format
a. Japan D1 RC Format a.k.a D1 Grand Prix format.
