Futaba 4PX Radio System

The next generation of transmitters from Futaba will soon be in our hands! The Futaba 4PX is packed with features with a lightning fast response from the T-FHSS system which is 30% faster than it's predecessor the 4PKSR and is 15grams lighter. Totally redesigned and it comes equipped with telemetry voice output which can be turned on and off for races that does not allow such. Expected release is 3rd quarter of 2014 (August).

I think these are the top two questions that every newbie in the hobby is asking...so I've posted this for you to read.

Q: How much is a starter kit?

A: Depends really on what you want...do you wanna go big or do you want to start from the ground up?
A basic kit (entry level Tamiya TT-01) I think this is the bottom on the list of decent kits. I don't mean to put the TT-01 down what I mean is it is the basic of them all and the cheapest and yet still competetive when it comes to drifting. A basic kit would do P5,000 worth of damage to your wallet. A mid range kit would do P10,000 and an advanced kit would go from P15,000 up to P40,000 and we're not even touching the electronics yet.

If your are travelling to Singapore and are looking for parts, kits, bags or anything related to RC drifting, I highly recommend for you to stop by this store in Crawford Lane. Great selection of products, good prices and more importantly friendly people. It's location is a little hard to find but it's really well worth the trip. If you have the chance to bring a kit with you they have a drift track outside just beside the store.

Wrap-up Screw Extensions

This is a must have in your spare parts box for tuning your suspension and steering and a lot of other things that uses spacers rather than the conventional spacer which you'd have to find a longer screw to go with it. Just wish they had this as a set of like 4 pairs for each size...well you can always buy 4 packs of it anyway. I just think that it will be cheaper if you buy it in a single larger pack.
